Privacy
Your details, and what we do with them.
In short: we use them to reply to you, we never sell them, and we don’t track you.
Who we are
Bevel Digital is the trading name of Rohan Singh, a sole trader in the UK. We are responsible for the personal information described here: in data protection terms, the controller. You can reach us at hello@beveldigital.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry
Our enquiry form asks for your name, your email address, your practice and its town, and which kind of website sounds right. You can also give a phone number, your current website, how you heard about us and anything else you want to tell us.
When you email us
Your email address and whatever your message contains.
When you visit this website
Like any website, the company that hosts it processes technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and keep the site secure. This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal. This is a step you have asked us to take before any agreement, and it is in our legitimate interest to answer people who contact us.
- If you tell us who recommended us, to thank them under our referral scheme. That is our legitimate interest, and theirs.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell them.
Who helps us
A few companies run the services we depend on, and handle your details only on our instructions:
- Tally, which runs our enquiry form and stores its answers in Europe
- Vercel, which hosts this website
- Cloudflare, which manages our domain and forwards our email
- Google, which provides our email
Some of these companies are based outside the UK. Where your information leaves the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
If you become a client, your details become part of our client records and are kept for as long as our agreement with you sets out. If you don’t, we delete your enquiry within 12 months of our last contact.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, object to how we use it, or have it deleted or its use restricted. Email us and we will reply within one month.
Complaints
Please tell us first, and we will put it right if we can. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK authority for data protection.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this notice and the date at the top. Back to the enquiry page.
